Default The Firetruck, noise in the front. what to check?

Thought I'd finally start up a thread about my Little Firetruck. It's an 87 Ford Courier, which I bought about 3 years ago. It is fairly stock at the moment, but next year I will hopefully be doing a V6 conversion.

For the amount of crap the Courier's/Bravo's cop, they are suprisingly a pretty good bus.

Here she is all cleaned up just after I painted the Sunny's.

Doing a little flex, I did say little!

This is the new Towbar that I made up for it.

The box section and the plates that I had plasma cut to my template shape.

the side plates all linished and grinded into shape.

The bar notched for the towball tongue.

The side plates drilled, deburred and cleaned up.

The side plates, support bracket and gusstes all tacked to the bar.

My dodgey welding, lets hope it holds together!

The new compared to the pissy old thing that used to be on there.

Giving it a lick of paint!

underside view of the towbar all fitted.

The old bar only used two bolts on the side to hold it on. The new one also has the bottom plate and a bolt right thru the chassis as extra support.

The bar with the towball and shackles all fitted!

Here's a few pics of the what I did today. I removed the front Diff and dropped it off to get a custom front diff-locker made.

To remove the diff, the hubs and CV's had to come out first!

Look Mar, no diff!

Looking empty!!!

All the right side had to come out to give me room to take out the diff.

All the bits after I took them out.

And all the suspension hooked back up so that I can still drive it while the diff lock is getting made!

Certainly have Mate! Still got plenty more to do though!!!

In a couple weeks I'll be fitting the new suspension. Hopefully that will give me an extra inch or two over how it sits now.

After that the list goes something like this.

Dual Batteries,
V6 conversion,
Steel winch bar,
Winch,
Sliders,
Snorkel,
33's,
2" Body lift,
UHF, and
Maybe a rear locker down the track.
