hi all can anyone shead some light on my problem in the mornings when i start up my disco 2000 mod td5 manual if i wait till all the lights go out plus about another 15 to 20 seconds its fine but if i start it as soon as all lights clear it will knock for about 3 to 4 seckonds sort of a dull sound not even sure if its internal other wise the engine is sweet as:truck:

Glow plugs, you'll probably find that 1 or all are stuffed, there's 4 of them, have them tested.
