I have just bought a FJ60 landcruiser. It feels like the back end steps sideways a bit whenever I get off the accelerator (changing gears is when it is most noticeable - clutch in = rear goes left, clutch back out = straight again).
Any ideas would be appreciated. I am going to get it looked at by a suspension place, but would like a bit of an idea what it could be. Thanks.

Stab in the dark, but..,
Rear axle bearings worn, but maybe Suspension bushes have hidden damage and need replacing.
We have no problems with ours there must be something wrong...

sounds like there is something wrong with your rear suspension making the diff rotate one way under load and return to normal when load is removed. Check for loose U-bolts holding diff to springs, check both spring mounts especially the fixed mounts. Look for cracks etc, worn wheel bearings could also cause this problem as well.
