Try again now. We've made a few tweaks and those email addresses are now allowed to be used during registration.

Cheers!

yahoo.com.au addresses should work. As far as i'm aware (I did it) yahoo.com addresses are banned as alot of spam bots are using this domain now.

For people with email issues, your safest bet is to use your isp email address. Things like bigpond, aapt, internode etc are always allowed through. Random address domains, be it legit or not, like blah@crimpin.org (I made that up) look suss and I don't have time to verify 50 domains a day. And no, the floodgates can't be opened. The sole reason there has been no spam advertising on here for the last few months is because myself and Brendan are using our personal time to verify every new account.

A mate has been trying for ages to become a member using yahoo with no success. He is now trying gmail & if not successful this time, wont even look at the forum anymore. He is pretty pissed off.

As above, best bet is to use his ISP address or hotmail. Untill such time as they start paying me to do this, I don't have time to contact every new applicant with a suspect looking email domain to verify it's legitimacy (>50 a day.)

Gmail accounts are fine. I registered with my Gmail account and it worked fine. Good luck
