Short Course LMP 4 & 5th Sept.

Who's going up to LMP on the 4th and 5th of September for the final round of the short course champs for this year.
I'll be there and my rig will have all new sign writing on it for the shop. Still have a bit of work to do to it also as it's had a few major changes since last round so it should go even better. See you there and come and say g'day.

I should be there.. 2 weeks seems enough time to put the heads back on, load it onto a trailer, and tow the pos up there ;D

So when you make it past the dnf point on each course, winch the rest of the way.. It'll be good practice ;D

Oh well.. I think you should consider getting in there and giving it a go as I hear competitors are a bit light on for the winch challenge :)

bargain i'd be in on that if i wasn't going to be so busy.
are they going to refund the difference to the competitors who paid the $1650 i wonder.
i heard they were a bit light on for numbers a few months ago but i thought they'd have picked up a bit by now. how many entries do they have do you know link.
i don't think they have mainy internationals coming

I think they have 12 competitors, but I'm not overly sure..

I'm getting scared though, as I know someone who is considering entering, and I'm about the only person he knows who can take 8 days off like that.. The thought of Navi'ing for 8 days in a winch based event is just plain freaky - especially when I'm normally the lazy one behind the wheel :o

i thought they had about 40 entries but were hoping for around 70.
if it's only 12 i should enter and take it real easy and you'd prolly get a placing cause the others will break stuff.
gunna be a fizzer if thats all they have.
they get more then that for a normal winch challenge let alone an international

na mate you didn't keep us awake. it wasn't you who was releiving them selves at about 2 in the morning outside our camper was it, on the rain water tank. the mrs was gunna shine the torch on ya and get a bucket of water. she reckons it sounded like a river and thought they were pissin on the camper. :o

came 2nd in 1 stage and 4th overall i think, stuffed me t/fer case and g/box though so it makes a few npoises that it didn't before, dunno whats wrong with it, stoved the drivers door in as well and had to kick it open so i could get out. so yer it was an eventful weekend.
enjoyed the meeting it's good to see the number of people who attend, I'm just looking forward to getting the shop up and running so i can meet everyone, and go wheelin with you all,
