Just watched the 4WD Monthly Ute Of The Year DVD again and I was wondering if anyone's had any experience with these systems at all?

It appears to not quite be as easy to fit as the DVD says so.
I ran into an old workmate yesterday and we got talking about cars. He had just taken delivery of a new D4D Hilux and had it down at ARB Penrith getting a heap of barwork as well as a Steinbauer fitted. It turned out the ARB guys have fried the factory ECU and there is a 3 week wait getting a new one from Japan. The Steinbauer guys flew down from Brisbane to prove it wasnt their gear that caused the problem.
So I would suggest everybody wait for a few more early adopters to get some Steinbauers fitted so that the dealer network can get up to speed on the correct installation procedures

Steinbauer are a bloody big company and their gear is made in Germany! I can tell you now they wouldn't be responsible for the fault. Out of all the chip makers in the world, these guys really seem to know their stuff and play with ALL things diesel, not just 4wds !! ;)
I have had work done by ARB before and had problems so just because it says ARB doesn't mean the boys down the road fitting it are ARB trained !!!
Fremantle Fuel Injection are Steinbauer dealers and fitters !!
They used to fit other types too so ask about them also !!!
