In my nk carbon canister is moved to drivers side rear of engine bay then second battery goes in 90 degrees to original battery as for mounting it i just boght a battery tray to suite. Second battery is a N70 same size as original it is avery tight sqeeze but it does fit. I will try to get some photos for you tomorrow.

I fitted one a few months ago but have not taken photos yet - I'm off to Fraser Island tomorrow morning so may not be able to get photos up for a couple of weeks - just wanted to mention that :)
I bought a Pirahna tray which was $140. It fitted an AmpTech 100AH deep cycle easily.
Tray was easily fitted using existing bolt holes, and drilling two holes into the firewall with tek screws.
I used an SC-40 from Traxide for the controller which was also easily fitted, attached to the firewall as high as possible with tek screws.
The charcoal cannister was moved to the drivers side, there's oodles of room there, again fitted with the tek screws (I see why mechanics love these things!). Had to buy some fuel hose to extend the lines to the cannister - just take the old hose into repco or similar and get a couple of metres of each - you'll have a little spare for the tool box.
I then ran 8B&S cable from both the positive and negative terminals of the new battery along the top of the chasis rail, and I found an existing un-used hole that enters the body into the jack compartment. There was a rubber bung here which I passed the cable through and sealed up with silastic. I used 10mm split plastic conduit over the cable to protect it. I still need to tidy the cable up with a bracket or something between the hole and the chasis rail, as it's a bit exposed and kind of hanging in the breeze. The cable then runs out of the jack compartment, around the seat and into the back to power the fridge.

I don't have any pics, but I just did a dual battery setup in my NF Pajero. I did it pretty much on the cheap but am very happy with it so far. I bought a battery tray from supercheap for $15, the hole matched up with some holes in the wheel arch between the left headlight and the overflow bottle. I then got a $7 battery clamp from supercheap and clamped in the battery i already had. I went to a chandlery and bought a 4 way switch(batt1, batt2, both or neither) and wired that in so that everything runs through the switch and i can decide which battery i am using or can use bother or neither. I then made a backing plate using a bit of steel from the bootlid of a falcon wreck and put some rubber between the switch and the steel. Then mounted the steel to the bolt holes for the carbon canister and then bolted the switch to it using the tech screws. I moved the carbon canister to the floor of the shed... will have to look at a better option for that....
I will try and get some pics up for everyone.

I use a pirahna isolator that I've had for 8 years and bought a tray from them which made it an easy bolt in job, I have since made the wiring alot neater than it is in the picture and changed the battery clamp that came in the tray kit to something a bit stronger. since mine is a diesel I didn't have to move anything but I helped another mate with a 3ltr paj move his canister to the drivers side to fit his battery in which is not a hard job either. Hope this was a help...
