Hey all just purchased my first "real" 4wd. Its a 89 GQ patrol 4.2L diesel with twin lockers 4inch coil and 2inch body lift and a cut down tray running 33inch BFG A/T. Will post up some pics soon of the beast in action.

yeah i agree with cape runner. Just hole does it justice. for anyone interested am doing a trip to landcruiser weekend of the 9th of sept if anyone is interested

Actually, it's a good place to live (and the Bay is a good place to visit.. but I don't want to live there!).

i moved to maryborough for my apprenticeship, its alright-ish. i Guess its closer to sunny coast then bundy so thats something going for it. Best thing about the bay is fraser. no doubt.

bit of an update. I now no longer on the patrol but a 97 single cab hilux. F and R air lockers custom tray and enough lift to run 33's. A lot cheaper to run but not quite as capable. Oh well more money for the good ol xxxx.

I had noticed that I hadn't seen the old pootroll in a while.
I'll have to look out for the lux. What colour is it?
And I hope the xxxx is bitter, not that horrible gold stuff....
