hi all,
i finally traded in the old beat up ford raider,
and got me a 80 series cruiser, its a petrol auto, pretty much standard apart from a 2" suspension lift and a ECB winch bar

yeah shes pretty tidy, just need bigger rubber to fill the gap now.
would 33s fit under without any scrubbing

thanks for the coments, yeah its only done 180,000 kms and cost me $16000, the interior looks like new and exterior only has 2 small dents in tailgate

thanks, i just noticed that my cruiser doesnt have rear sliding windows in it but my fathers does, does any one know what models did and didnt come out with them? his is a 90 model and mine's a 94

My cruiser is a 95 model GXL and it has the sliding windows. I think there was an update to the 80's in 1994 so that is when they probably got them.

What model is your old mans DX,Rv,GXL ?

welcome to the club jay. ive owned mine for a month now.

33's no problemo, did a 2" lift & 285-75/16 (33") last weekend.

congrats on the purchase mate.

I bought my cruiser about 2 months ago now and i havent stopped enjoying the drive in it.

Mine is a 91 GXL diesel and it has rear sliding windows as well.

Yep it is old and noisy and rattley and slow, but damn i love it and i know it will take me whereever i want to go.

his is a gxl turbo desiel, i think im just unlucky cause everyone else seems to have them.
