Ideas for overhead console disco I?

Has anyone made or bought an overhead console for series 1 disco? I want to mount cb and small storage - the current slots over the visors are good, but not enough. I have tried most manufacturers listed in the mag and they say the problem is there is nowhere to attach to, especially if you want to go down the centre of the roof.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
