Serviced my MK today and noticed that there are no springs on the front. Can anyone tell me why and can I get a suspension lift for it.I know it is a torsion bar set up but dont really know how it all works. Also can anyone tell me how to drain the oil out of the transfer case. Did the motor and rear diff today(didnt have a 24mm spanner for the front diff) and was going to do it all but couldnt work out where the oil comes out. The drain plug for the gearbox was really tight so i didnt do that. Is it best to really force it or leave it to an expert(I only just get by).

no coil springs in any tritons except the new ml's mate, the simplest way to increase the front height is by winding up the torsion bars, the rears are easy just replace the whole leaf packs, arb in mt barker should be able to help you out with all of this, not sure on the gearbox,i get mine serviced by mitsi dealer locally

I'll give you advice on oil changes. Always undo the filler plug BEFORE the drain plug. Think what happens if you drain the oil out and can't get the fill plug off:(

Thanks Vineboy. Worked that out today. Definitely a thing to remember in future.:thumb:
