Because you clicked it as the thread icon (maybe by accident.) Fixed now, welcome to the forum ;)

Welcome to the forum Andrew,
Is your lux a diesel or a petrol? What's wrong with the front end? Is it a wheel travel thing or a hard ride problem? Surely it couldn't be as bad as my leaf springs? Did you read the poll here on front or rear, for the locker? Front won the vote!

Cheers, Dave

hi

its a 2.7 petrol. the ifs doesnt flex.

im compensating by reducing the rear leaf pack to 3-4 leafs and in conjunction with airbag man putting air springs in so that i have increase articulation but can still tow without dragging the bum.

with front air locker dont you run the risk of doing CV's?

Andrew Yes you do, with the old style auto lockers or with air lockers locked it puts heaps of pressure on the CV's when turning if you have traction on both wheels. That's why I swear by the new auto lockers that only drive the slowest wheel. When turning on grippy ground, they will allow the tyre on the outside of the turn to spin faster, therefore saving the CV's and allowing you to turn sharper.

Yeah mate welcome and i would definately put an auto in the front before spending the cash on a manual air for the rear. The difference they make will make it seem less like you have IFS.
