G'day
According to my Gregories, the front and rear diff's in the GQ wagons have the same model number. Does that mean the front and rear centres are interchangeable?

No! The front diff has a smaller axle dia and difrnt spline count! But if you want an LSD for the front, find a 2000 Pathfinder (R50) rear LSD. They are basically a straight bolt in! How long did that body shape go? 1998 to 2005? There should be a few of them a few around second hand by now!

Cheers!

I think you'll find that most 4WD Navara and Pathy rear diffs will fit a GQ front, all the way back from 1988.
When I looked at ARB's air locker fitment guide most of the Nav and Pathy rear diffs were the same as GQ fronts, including spline count and axle diameter.

cheers

Nope, not looking for a front LSD, already have an automatic locker of some kind.

If the axles are different, how about the crown and pinion?
My rear diff has some bits falling off the pinion, and I was wondering if i could swap them around.
