I am looking at adding a 2.5inch exhaust to my 4.5 Patrol...

I got a quote for around $1600 from extractors right thru...

Does this sound about right and what are the benefits...

I am getting a 2.5 inch system fitted with extractors today to my 4.2 petrol GQ Patrol . Cost was $400 for the extractors and $290 for the 2.5 inch system. $690 all up

$1600 sounds just a little on the steep side! Is it Stainless Steel all thru!?

No not stainless steel... Maybe i should wait until i visit melbourne... This may be country prices...

Anyone in Melbourne know a good 4WD exhaust place...eastern suburbs?

I have got a quote for a MQ in 2.5 complete for $700 and thats in tassie so for $1600 I would expect more that extractors and exhaust

agree that price is too high, i was quoted 1100 bucks for a full system on my 100 series petrol and my brother got quoted 1800 for a full stainless system on his 80 series
