View Full Version : Turbo options for non-turbo 2.8

just bought a MK triton with the non-turbo 2.8. I thought the 2.8 Hilux's were slow! Anyone know of a good aftermarket turbo for them or can I just bolt up a Mitsu' one?

Triton is listed as having 71 Kw and hilux 60 Kw. Sure nothings wrong with it?

Wow, doesn't say much for the 'lux's. It's done 145,000 and I'm getting the injectors done at 150.

I think I might just be used to more powerful fourbys. There is a hill between me and Orange (NSW) which all my previous cars I could get up in 5th with no load or at least fourth with a load (usually a box trailer and ag bike etc). The Triton I'm going up in third. Maybe I expected more.
