Been reading on the forum for a couple of months. Got great help from Wilesy.

Just a quick question. What's the advantage of been in a 4x4 club? I do trips to Fraser and Moreton and anywhere else on my own now.

welcome aboard. good to see you're a Nissan driver as well.
Some 4wd clubs won't allow you to go on club drives unless you have done a driver course either with them or outside, which realy sucks because you could have been offroading for 20 years and done everything in between and then they tell you that they want you to do a course.
You also get to meet a lot of other people who are 4wd enthusiasts so you don't always have to go driving alone.
some clubs receive discounts at various outlets as well. you can swap info on different vehicles and get a wider view on certain things.
I'm not involved in a club yet mainly from lack of time. but will soon be joining 1 when I move to Hervey Bay to open my own accessories store.
