They stuff up quicker than a Sanggyong on dirt, but it's usually dust in the mechanism, so if you find one and it's not operating smoothly, give it a good squirt of CRC or Roothanolin, and they're a million bux again. The ithe part that let's them down is the pins that operate on the cam. If they buckle the jack will be difficult to operate. You can get spare pins, but I've found they straighten out alright too.
