Sandgropers Rule - Just recovering from the Perth show, time to think at last!

I'm sitting out at Perth airport waiting for a plane. The Perth 4WD Murchison Offroad Expo was incredible, sort of left my head feeling like a bowl of custard. It was a terrific chance to meet thousands of people and that's what I did. I'd like to say thanks to all those people who put in the effort to come and say g'day, I know plenty of you came a long way to see what was on offer and maybe check out Milo in the rough and dirty flesh. Pretty rough up close isn't she?

Heaps of people asked me if I'd driven over and no, this is the first time ever Milo's been trucked anywhere in our time together. We had planned on driving over but after a really tough Cape trip - which you'll see on dvd - the poor old girl was just about stuffed. Just the usual Cape/wet season stuff, mudded back axle, bad bearings, no brakes, busted an engine mount. She made it the 3000km back to Brisy but the trip across Aussie wasn't going to happen. So now Milo's in a box and I'm waiting for a plane. And Jack is so upset he missed out he made a mess on the carpet, so the Handbrake's probably got a frozen fish waiting for me....

Look, I'm tired but I just want to stress that huge thanks to everybody who came to say hello, Glenno, Shaun, Dave and Bianca all made the trip over from Sydney and like me they were blown away too, wow, you Sangropers are serious off-roaders aren't you? Anyway, gotta go, need to make one last phone call to my mate Graham Cahill - see if he can organise me in to another trip over here with the truck really soon.

Good on you guys, look forward to meeting more people at shows or out on the track,

Cheers,
Roothy

On you roothy I'm off to the cape this sunday and i'm from the mudflats as well, hope my truck holds together as well as milo.

G'day Roothy. Sorry we missed the show. We came down to perth a while back for the caravan, camping, and boat show, but if we'd known this was gunna be on we woulda waited. We would have preferred to come to a more 4wd orientated show, and the young bloke would be pretty pissed off if he knew he missed out on seein' you and Milo, [obviously i haven't told him]. Lookin at doin the Gunbarrel later on this year and a few "show specials" would have come in handy too! Cheers, Chris

G'day Roothy. me and my family went to the perth and 4wd exbo, it was great to see you and milo there, sad to hear milo isn't running to good. Hope to see you again one day cheers, jaydan.
