The following road closures are now in effect for the Crediton and Mia Mia state forests in QLD.

Crediton State Forest (80km west of Mackay, QLD) – Cockies Creek Road is open from Eungella Dam Road through to the Denham Range (Plevna) turnoff and out to Denham Range Campground. Vehicle access on Cockies Creek Road from the Denham Range (Plevna) turnoff down to Captains Crossing in Mia Mia State Forest is closed to all traffic until further notice, due to severe damage to the road from cyclones and heavy rainfall.

The Diggings Campground is accessible to 4WDs only.

Mia Mia State Forest (60km west of Mackay) including Captains Crossing Campground is closed until further notice due to unsafe road conditions.
