Currently sitting at the airport, about to jump on the big silver cigar bound for HQ in Sydney.

I've been looking forward to this trip for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that I get to climb behind the wheel of Shorty for the first time since December 2011. Excited, you bloody bet I am.

Since I saw it last, the little truck has had new LED lighting added, been pampered by the boys at Mr Spares and had a quick trip to the Dyno shop to make sure all is OK. Why all the fuss? Well, this is my first major trip of 2012 for 4WD Action and it's the start of what is shaping up to be a massive year.

Glenno has thrown out a challenge and is sending me all over Australia in the next 10 or so months and I'm about as excited as a kid in a candy store. I'm am also going to be hanging off my cameras a bit more this year, shooting and writing articles which I love doing, just as much as presenting.

So it's time to buckle up and get ready for takeoff, it's going to be an epic journey...hope to bump into you along the way.
