Floods Close National Park
Heavy storms and rain have slammed Queensland and many areas in Northern NSW over the past few days. The storms have resulted in rising flood waters and road closures.
South of Noosa near Boreen Point has recorded 108mm in the past 24 hours. As a result of rainfall in this area, QPWS has closed Great Sandy National Park. Any campers or 4WDers are advised to leave the area.
Authorities have closed Harrys Hut Road, Upper Noosa River campsites, Fig Tree Point and Neebs Waterhole. If you’re planning to travel in this area visit www.derm.gov.qld.gov.au/cooloola for updated information.

• Bribie Island – 208-224 First Avenue
