If you’re a 4WD enthusiast and in the ACT area, then this weekend is for you.

With all the latest 4WD vehicles on show and a huge range of camping tent and outdoor gear, if you’re planning to hit the tracks anytime soon, then this is the place for you.

It’s jam-packed with live action on the test track and demonstrations and seminars on everything outdoor.

The aim of the show is to encourage responsible and recreational use of 4WD vehicles in the Australian environment, and to provide 4WDers or potential drivers with access to information and products that will encourage responsible outdoor activities. This event is held biennially and has been a great success for the clubs and exhibitors over the past 14 years.

The 4WD Spectacular & Outdoor Recreation Show is an initiative of three Canberra 4WD clubs – the Southern Tablelands Four-Wheel Drive Club, the ACT Landrover Club and The ACT Four-Wheel Drive Club. The show is held every two years at the Queanbeyan Showgrounds.

The show will help support the Snowy-Hydro Southcare Helicopter Rescue Service, VKS-737 Outback Radio Network and the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Other local charities will be providing food and drink stalls or services to the event, which gives them the opportunity to raise much-needed funds.
